'Learning together to make a difference'

Information for annual reception intake at Whybridge Infants (before you apply)

Due to the Covid19 pandemic, we have taken the decision not to have face-to-face school tours.  This is in line with our risk assessments which require our small staff team to be in isolated bubbles and to avoid having members of the public on site.

However, we do fully appreciate how important this time is in your child's early education and we know and understand that you need to get a feel for the school and to ask questions.  Therefore this page includes:

  • The school prospectus
  • A presentation covering basic information and many of the frequently asked questions
  • Video tour around the school with commentary from our head teacher and early years staff
  • A contact form for the early years leader to make a telephone appointment with you, if you need it
  • A contact from for our SENCo to make a telephone appointment with you, if your child has special education needs

We know that this is not perfect and we know that there may be some schools still arranging face to face visits, but we hope you will see that our decision is putting the safety of our current pupils as the first priority and will agree that this is a good thing for any child who attends our school.  We are a very friendly school and welcome phone calls or emails.  Someone will always get back to you.  Thank you.

Please note that many of the photos were taken before social distancing restrictions and during the pandemic not all activities happen exactly the same way as we would normally wish.
