Finding and applying for a junior school place

As soon as your child starts year 2 you should start looking at junior schools.  You will need to apply for a place in a junior school (or primary school - infants and juniors combined) by the deadline in January.  We are not a primary school so there is no automatic transfer into year 3 at Whybridge Juniors.  They are a separate school and you would need to apply for them.

You may apply to any junior (or primary) school for a year 3 place and below are links to Whybridge Juniors and other schools in Havering.  Most junior schools hold tours and have information on their websites about year 3 annual admission intakes.  Primary schools do not have bulk year 3 annual intakes as their year 2 pupils will automatically roll up into year 3 and they would not usually have many places.  There are plenty of websites offering advice and tips on choosing an appropriate junior school for your child.

Some junior schools may require you to apply directly to them, but most use the local authority admission process
