Greater London Authority & Education and Youth

The London Borough of Havering is one of the boroughs in the city of Greater London.  Greater London is  a similar size to a traditional county and is led by the Mayor of London, who is elected every 4 years.  The Mayor is held to account by the Greater London Assembly.  This assembly is also elected every 4 years with a member elected to represent Havering.  The assembly and the Mayor are based in City Hall and they make decisions about how to make the whole of London better for all its residents.  More information can be found on their website.
